Internship Program

Tondini Law’s internship program offers hands-on experience in a supportive boutique firm. Interns work on real projects while gaining exposure to both the practical and human sides of law. The goal is to build a strong foundation in legal practice, business operations, and professional growth.

Overall Purpose  

The Tondini Law internship offers meaningful exposure to the daily workings of a boutique law firm. With a focus on legal research, professionalism, and career growth, it bridges academic learning with real-world legal practice.

What Interns Do 

Interns rotate through legal, administrative, and business functions conducting research, drafting documents, assisting with case prep, and supporting marketing efforts. They observe client meetings and attend Bar Association events to connect with attorneys and judges. The program builds key skills in organization, communication, and professional etiquette while exposing interns to various areas of law

Learning Experience

At Tondini Law, interns build technical skills and gain confidence in their career paths. Through client observation, research projects, and discussions on ethics, they deepen their understanding of legal practice. The program ends with a final presentation and reflection on their experience.

How to Apply:

Tondini Law offers a selective internship program for motivated individuals pursuing careers in law or business. We seek applicants who demonstrate academic excellence, professionalism, and a strong interest in legal practice.

Ideal Candidates: 

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited undergraduate or law program
  • Strong academic performance
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

    Christopher Cruz Coleman

    Christopher Cruz Coleman

    Legal Intern

    Christopher Cruz Coleman is from Valley Center, California, and is a rising senior at Columbia University, studying Political Science and Human Rights on a pre-law track. He interned at Tondini Law for two summers, where he gained experience in legal research, writing, and immigration case strategy. His responsibilities included drafting documents, translating immigration materials, building a case law library, and writing blogs to inform prospective clients.

    Current Update:

    Through this internship, Christopher developed a strong understanding of legal practice and built meaningful relationships with mentors who helped shape his career goals. He is currently interning for Rep. Darrell Issa in Washington, D.C., representing his hometown district (CA-48). His time at Tondini Law laid the foundation for future opportunities and deepened his passion for the legal profession.

      Gianna Brook

      Gianna Brook

      Legal Intern

      Gianna Brook is a pre-law student at the University of Arizona, earning her degree early in Law with a minor in Public Relations. She will continue her education with a Master of Legal Studies before attending law school.

      This summer, Gianna interned at Tondini Law, gaining hands-on experience in case development, legal research, and client interaction. Under the mentorship of Ms. Silvina Tondini, she learned the core elements of legal practice and collaborated with paralegals on active matters. She also expanded her network by attending the North County Bar Association June Dinner and meeting attorneys from various legal fields.

      Current Update:

      Gianna is now returning to Arizona to complete her undergraduate studies and begin her Master of Legal Studies program, excited to apply what she learned and continue preparing for a future in law.

        Lucca Deocariza

        Lucca Deocariza

        Legal Intern

        Lucca Deocariza is a rising senior at the University of San Diego, double majoring in Real Estate and Finance with a minor in Accounting. A first-generation American and student-athlete, he serves as Vice President of the Real Estate Society and has twice competed in the NAIOP University Challenge.

        During his internship at Tondini Law, Lucca gained hands-on experience in real estate, law, and finance. Under Ms. Tondini’s mentorship, he participated in meetings with investors and managed the firm’s investment portfolio solidifying his interest in real estate finance and capital markets.

        Current Update:

        Since then, Lucca has interned at KPMG and is currently a Sales & Trading Summer Analyst at RBC Capital Markets in New York.

          Mia Deocariza

          Mia Deocariza

          Legal Intern

          Mia Deocariza is a senior at Mater Dei High School with a strong academic record, extensive leadership experience, and a commitment to service. As a Varsity student-athlete, she exemplifies balance between discipline and innovation. Mia is a member of the ASB Senate and Marketing Commission, National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation, Renaissance Club, Model United Nations Team, and Sports Business Club, and has earned consistent recognition on the Principal’s List Honor Roll. With over 150 volunteer hours and a passion for business, she plans to pursue a degree at a top-tier university, where she hopes to explore the intersection of business and law, preparing for a career that integrates strategic leadership with ethical impact.
